QR Code

QR codes, or Quick Response codes, are two-dimensional barcodes that can store a significant amount of information within a square grid of black and white pixels. Developed in Japan in the 1990s for tracking vehicle parts during manufacturing, QR codes have since become ubiquitous due to their fast readability and greater storage capacity compared to standard UPC barcodes. They can encode data such as text, URLs, or other information that can be easily accessed by scanning the code with a smartphone camera or a dedicated QR code reader.
